Stock Photography

All the photographs featured on this site (and many more) are available for your editorial or commercial projects, including both web pages and published material. If you have found a photograph that you would like to inquire about for licensing, please submit a stock photo request by clicking on the direct link from the photo viewing page.

Note that the images present on this site represent only a small fraction of those which are available. If you have certain editorial requirements or are looking for specific images to fit a particular need, please do not hesitate to inquire. A selection of low-resolution sample images can be sent to you for your review. When inquiring about a particular image please quote the image number (usually a 6 or 8 digit number preceeded by a 3-letter code). We handle all requests directly to you through email, and there is no online ordering form.

Photographs

The images on this website constitute both 35mm slide film and digital photographs. Film images have been taken almost exclusively with Fujichrome Velvia (occasionally other film is used) and are digitized utilizing top quality scanning (5400+ dpi). Original slides are not shipped to clients. All digital photos have been taken with profesional quality SLR cameras utilizing high-resolution sensors.

Note that no photographs have been digitally altered in any way except for standard processing adjustments such as brightness and contrast.

Terms

Commercial use of these images is negotiated on a per use basis, none are available for outright sale.

Pricing

Factors determining price for use of a photo include the size of the image and placement in the publication, type of media or publication, circulation, type of rights required, and total quantity of photos licensed.

Some images are available for free use for non-profit organizations, please inquire for details.

Format

Size. Most images are delivered to the client at approximately 2480 x 3500 pixels, which enables up to A4 size (8.3 x 11.7 inches) printing at 300 dpi. These files range from 4-8 MB in size. If you require smaller or larger files, please inquire.
File type. Generally high quality JPEG. Please specify if you prefer TIFF, PSD, or other file types.
Color. All images are sent in Adobe RGB and with 8-bit color depth. Other profiles or 16-bit color are available upon request.

Payment

We accept payment through Paypal, as well as international money orders or telegraphic transfer.

Delivery

Once the invoice has been paid, images can be delivered by the following methods: 1) sent on a CD by air mail, 2) emailed to your account as a zipped file, or 3) placed on an FTP server for your download.
