About the Venue

The conference will be held in the pleasant and historic city of Kuching, the capital of Sarawak (East Malaysia), located one and a half hours flight from either Kuala Lumpur or Singapore. Sarawak's incredible biodiversity includes over 25 species of Nepenthes (7 of which are endemic), making it one of the richest regions in the world for these remarkable plants. Have you always been looking for a good excuse to visit Borneo? Now is the time!

The Sarawak Tourism Complex is a beautifully restored set of buildings adjacent to the historic court house directly opposite the Sarawak River. This is the historic center of Kuching and is just a short walk along the waterfront from most of the larger hotels. Both the conference seminars and the exhibition and sales areas will be located with the Tourism Complex.
