Can foreigners purchase plants at the Summit?

Yes. As a large variety of Nepenthes species will be available for sale through different vendors, we have made arrangements through the relevant authorities so that all paperwork for the export of plants (CITES, Export, and Phytosanitary certificates) will be issued on an expedited basis. This will enable foreigners to carry home their plants with them after the conference. Please note that depending on your home country it may be necessary to obtain the appropriate general import permits beforehand.

 

Are hotel reservations included in the conference fee?

No. Participants are required to arrange for their own accomodation during the Summit. Please refer to the links page for some suggested hotels and guesthouses in the vicinity.
