Nepenthes of Sarawak

 
Nepenthes ampullaria Tropical pitcher plants of the genus Nepenthes are unique and characteristic features of Sarawak's rich flora. Worldwide, nearly 100 species have been discovered, but in Sarawak Nepenthes reach their pinnacle of diversity, with 25 described species of which seven are endemic to the state.
